Oh, The Pickiness of Teenage Boys. What to wear.

 "Is a coat too difficult? Really? It's freezing."

 "What if the car breaks down... What about your lunch break?"

These are the things said. Not so sure they are heard or registered. And then there is spotting finding them shaking off the freeze as they approach the car, lips blue, frost on their nose.  (okay, no frost really... but it could happen.)

This morning had a little different tune singing. As he got out to pump fuel in the car he returned with deep lung warming breathes I threw it out there one more time in a little different manner, "Dang, it's freezing outside... is your coat at home?" Yeah, maybe empathy would be the bridge towards realization. 

"Yah, actually my coat doesn't fit me anymore. It's too small."

What? He actually tried it on to know that. So what am I doing today? Snagging a coat that will fit him. Should arrive within a couple days... you know, just in time for the current freeze to thaw by the glistening sun. However, I did find a really good deal on a Tommy Hilfiger lightweight coat.  

Let me know if you find any other great deals out there right now. Earmuffs possibly? Scarf, leg warmers, ski pants + gloves. Haha. This kid, he's got to love me! Right?
